Performances
High mechanical strength: Excellent load-bearing and compression resistance, making it suitable for structural support components.
Good insulating performance: Properties improve after oil impregnation, but not suitable for use in high-voltage main insulation areas.
Excellent oil compatibility: Does not contaminate the oil after oil absorption, while enhancing its own insulation and heat dissipation capabilities.
Good machinability: Easy to turn, drill, and machine into complex-shaped components.
Technical Specifications
Can be customized according to customer requirements.
Applications
Electrical laminated wood is mainly used as structural support insulation components inside oil-immersed transformers, reactors, and instrument transformers, such as clamping rings (pressure plates), spacers, lead supports, and core clamps. It is used to secure windings and provide electrical isolation, and often replaces metallic materials to reduce equipment weight.
